Le, your announcement surprised me! I had no idea you were even contemplating this.
Anyway, I hope you guys are prepared to do alot of hiring and firing. That is one of the biggest complaints about massage envy from the owners perspective. I know because where I used to work for Dr. Ryan, we would always get resumes from people from massage envy. Typically students fresh out of school would apply because Massage Envy usually is always hiring and don't ask much in terms of qualifications cuz they don't pay as much. Shortly after, as the therapist gains more experience, they almost always demand more money and when you can't up their pay, tehy will quit. This cycle in continuous. You need to be aware that massage therapist are very difficult to work with due to personal schedules, personal injuries, and just plain DRAMA!
With these two issues in mind, if you are prepared to tackle it, very best of luck to you! Massage Envy does really get a lot of patrons. I'm not sure of their repeat business though, as I only usually see patients that are dissatisfied with being their member and look elsewhere. Please keep us posted on this venture. If I can help, let me know.
On the positive side, free beauty products sound awesome! :)
